wade or drift fishing in Port O'ConnorGo wade fishing or drift fishing for speckled trout and redfish. Fishing is available in Matagorda Bay, Port O'Connor, Espiritu Santo Bay, San Antonio Bay, Baffin Bay, and the Laguna Madre area. You may also want to try a floundering trip in the Port O'Connor area. This trip is on a floundering boat at night and you gig the fish.

If you are into Duck or Goose hunting, MS Guide Service has blinds around the Guadalupe and Port O'Connor area. You are guaranteed to have a great time shooting ducks and geese. 

If you really want to try something different, go alligator hunting with Captain Marvin Strakos in September during Alligator season. This exciting sport is done around the Guadalupe river bottom. You are guaranteed to get a gator.
Marvin's Fishing Report

Marvin Strakos knows how to catch fish on the Texas Gulf Coast. Please always check the weather before going out fishing! A bad storm on the water, even in the back bays, is very dangerous!

Redfish and Trout have been scarce while fishing with live/dead bait. Some reds and have been being caught with artificial on the flats.

Duck and goose hunting have been good.

Remember to be courteous on the water and watch out for other fishermen. Take a kid fishing!
